Date night with the hubsters and we are such nerds we are gonna build our house on Sims haha. Quality time is good anytime though. Since he is so absorbed with his Final Fantasy and I am constantly Tumbling and Pinning we are going to do some stuff together. I made honey mustard chicken tonight and it seemed a bit dry. I think I didn't let them soak in the honey mustard enough because I just coated them in it right before I baked them. Next time full hour of marinade. I'm seriously considering starting the Supernatural series on Netflix. Not sure if I will like it or not but I thought I'd give it a try. I said the exact same thing about Vampire Diaries and now it is one of my favorite series. I still haven't gotten caught up with Doctor Who yet still on season 4. What irritates me is that I absolutely love the 9th Doctor and just as I'm starting to get used to the 10tb Doctor they are going to change it to Matt Smith. Not sure if I'm going to like him already. I guess I am Doctor prejudice. I'll stick with the 9th Doctor thank you lol. He's fantastic. But yeah been watching RuPauls drag race on Netflix for fun and man do I really want to learn how to do my makeup. Not like all heavy as hell like they do theirs but natural looking. I am very serious about getting this cute little vanity desk that I found at target for my birthday along with my chest piece which I am so excited about getting. And I want to get all new makeup brushes and makeup. My collection is pretty outdated. Mainly being makeup that my mother handed down to me when she was finished using it so needless to say it is not that great. I need to find stuff that works for me and my extremely fair complextion. I also need to get over my phobia of blue eye shadow. I've been terrified of wearing blue eye shadow since I was a kid and I think it looks absolutely horrid, but maybe I need to experiment with it. Once I get my beautiful vanity I will experiment all day long lol

I am originally from Biloxi, Mississippi (just a hop, skip, and a jump from the Louisiana border) my grandparents are from Abbeville Louisiana and pure cajun coon-asses. My entire childhood I grew up with every cajun dish imaginable, things like dirty rice, gumbo, crawfish etouffee, andouille, hogs head cheese, and cracklins and as far as I'm concerned my grandma was one of the best cooks around (though I'm sure everyone says this about their own grandmother) The greatest gift my grandma ever gave me was the ability to cook and cook well. Now living in Texas when I am given the opportunity to cook for others I love making them cajun dishes that I loved as a child. Alot of the people around here have never experienced cajun food or seafood. I made this jambalaya once for a potluck at my work and I really enjoyed my co-workers reactions the first time they tried andouille and crawfish. So here is my recipe for Jambalaya just like MawMaw used to make :)

So pretty much the only exciting thing that happened today was the new True Blood came on. Hello nerd moment. I'm totally obsessed with that show even though I think Sookie is a complete retard for dumping Eric. Bill I can totally understand, sorry Bill fans but I just don't find him attractive. Now Eric, thats a different story. Or hell, even Alcide is pretty hot. I cannot wait for the next one to come out. Which just makes me think of how excited I am for season 4 of Vampire Diaries. I mean, whew that ending *sigh* I cannot wait. I am team Damon all the way, screw Stephen. He totally blew it with Elena. Before I keep rambling about hot vampires and such I need to put a totally awesome recipe I found. Looks super yummy. This is definately on my list for Thanksgiving.
